On November 18, 2008, join Leadership Oakland as GM Vice President Diana Tremblay presents “Innovative Leadership: Historical Implications” and gain a powerful perspective on what it takes to be an innovative leader.
Diana Tremblay, Vice President of Labor Relations for General Motors North America has been recognized as one of Detroit’s most influential women by Crain’s Detroit Business. Tremblay led the GM team that negotiated the 2007 UAW Agreement. When implemented, it transformed the US Business Model on many fronts. Diana will give a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what it was like to be in the lead on the contract that will shape the way the Big Three moves forward over the next five years. She will discuss some of the challenges of implementation, especially in today’s rapidly changing business environment, as well as offer insight into where she sees GM headed in the future.
