In the past couple of years, it seems that more or our members are suffering from cancer and share their stories with me.  These members report that it is a tough journey to get through the treatment and finally hit the “survivor” milestone. 

This month is Breast Cancer awareness month.  Sometimes I  think  it should be renamed because all of us have been touched in some way by this disease.  We are well “aware” of it.  But awareness has led to early detection and treatment, more dollars raised and donated, increased commitment to research, and, ultimately, increased survival rates.  We are making strides but MUST do more.  Do your part this month and every month.  You know what to do.  Just do it.
