Donna Poydras has over 15 years of experience with extensive training in Office Management, Administration, and Customer Service. She has a thirst for knowledge, and enjoys learning new skills, serving and training others. Donna has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and an Associate Science Degree in Computer and Data Processing with a Minor in Speech and Business. She has a passion for reading and has read over 200 books.
Due to her passion for literacy, education, and networking, Donna has donated many books to Oakland and Wayne County citizens. To help individuals develop a thirst for reading and learning, she has hosted events such as TV turn-off Week, Library on Wheels, Free Tax Service, and College Fairs, plus Financial Literacy Days.
A dedicated work ethic and a desire to make a difference are reflected in her advocacy for veterans who are single mothers and assist inmates in getting released from prison. In addition, she helps to feed and clothe the elderly and the disabled.
Working as a resource for Oakland and Wayne County citizens for many years allowed her to serve as a trustworthy professional liaison for several non-profit organizations.
Donna has worked in a professional environment and work with executives and high-profile individuals. She is known for being experienced, confidential, and discrete while delivering excellent customer service with a cheerful disposition and smile.
