Junior Leadership Oakland Program
Encourages and empowers young adults through 3 full-day interactive workshops.
This program was created for students entering high school in the fall. It is designed to promote leadership through personal and professional development, and community involvement opportunities in Southeast Michigan.
Whether you know it or not, you have leadership qualities that people around you appreciate. It’s time to explore your full leadership potential through Junior Leadership Oakland (LO). There is no grade point average requirement-simply a willingness to learn and interact with others to uncover your full leadership potential.
This is an important time in your life. We invite you to take time and dive into our 3 full-day leadership program that will make a difference for you now and in the future. You will leave understanding more about your community and the resources it has to support your success.

Tuition
Cost: No cost for participating students
Applicant Requirements
Eligibility: All High School students are eligible to apply.
Selection Process: Students will be selected for participation based on personal goals, personal/life experiences (this includes work experiences, community service, faith-based affiliations, etc.), and educational experience.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of representatives from Leadership Oakland. Students will be notified by June 5 whether or not they have been selected to participate in the program. There is no application fee or cost for participation on the part of the student.
