What can a guide dog and blind person teach professionals about good leadership? A lot more than one might imagine. Leadership Oakland and Leader Dogs for the Blind have partnered for a unique look at a leadership development technique that is quickly gaining popularity.

Join these two organizations as Leadership Oakland takes its Breakfast of Champions series to Leader Dogs for the Blind headquarters, 1039 S Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, on Tuesday, January 23, from 7:30- 9:00 a.m. An optional tour of the impressive Canine Development Center that changes hundreds of lives each year will be available afterward.

Harness the Power of Leadership is a unique offering by Leader Dogs for the Blind to help individuals and teams directly experience and understand how the relationship between a guide dog and its recipient can help them be stronger professionals.

The session is open to the public. Pre-registration is required. The cost is $36. Leadership Oakland Alumni Association members receive a discount — $32. Registration is available online at https://www.leadershipoakland.com/breakfast-of-champions/ or by contacting Carol Dendler at 248.952.6880.
