Troy, MI – Leadership Oakland began its 2018-2019 fiscal year with one new member of its Board of Directors and customary changes to the Executive Committee. Outgoing Board President, Phil Korovesis, Butzel Long, was recognized for his many years of service at the organization’s Annual Meeting. He vacated his board role due to term limits.

Newly elected to the 19-member, 2018-2019 board is:

  • Treasurer, Jennifer Korman, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services

All members of the board are graduates of the Leadership Oakland nine-month-long Cornerstone program and have a passion and commitment to developing leaders in Southeast Michigan.

The organization provides a nine-month Cornerstone Program to participants from businesses, organizations and governmental agencies that are selected based on an application process.
