OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich., April 11, 2016 – Leadership Oakland will hold an informational breakfast about its 2016-2017 Cornerstone Program on April 20, 2016, starting at 8 am. The event will take place at the MSU Management Education Center, located at 811 W. Square Lake Rd. in Troy, and will last until 9:30 am. This breakfast is for anyone interested in potential participation in the Leadership Oakland Cornerstone Program. Guests will meet with alumni, board members, and current class members to learn why Leadership Oakland is important to them personally, professionally, and publicly.
The Cornerstone Program takes 50 developing leaders and delves into issues facing the region – from education, government, and the justice system to health and human services and race and ethnic diversity. In-depth, monthly sessions lead by experts in each of these arenas focus on both the treasures and challenges facing the region.
There is no cost to attend the Cornerstone breakfast, but pre-registration is requested. Contact Carol Dendler at 248-952-6880 ext. 1 or firstname.lastname@example.org to register. More information about Leadership Oakland and the Cornerstone program can be found at leadershipoakland.com.
