Committed to reducing the “I had no idea” factor around Oakland County’s vast array of regional assets, Leadership Oakland is showcasing two local attractions during its annual fall event on Wednesday, October 24.

The evening begins with a special reception at the Oakland University Art Gallery from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  Participants will have access to the latest exhibit, which will have opened only a few days prior. Who They Were Then features the early works of several artists who learned and lived in the Detroit area.

Attendees will also have the option walking across the hall to experience Broadway-caliber, professional theatre with preferred seating at Meadow Brook Theatre’s production of Arsenic and Old Lace at 8 p.m.

Tickets cost $45 per person for the reception and $75 for the reception and theatre performance. Admission includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and one drink ticket. Leadership Oakland Alumni Association members can purchase tickets at a discounted rate: $40 per person for reception; $70 for reception and theatre performance.
