Help us make an impact on children in Oakland County!
Leadership Oakland XXXI is teaming up with CARE House of Oakland County to raise funds and awareness for a Day of Service project.
Each year, Leadership Oakland, a group of corporate, civic and non-profit leaders, works to improve the community one act of service at a time. This year, our 31st class is working with CARE House of Oakland County, a privately funded, nonprofit Children’s Advocacy Center who provides over 3,000 hours of therapy and an additional 5,000+ hours of parent education Each Year.
Our Fundraising efforts will go towards a BRAND NEW comfortable area for children to enjoy toys, games, and a comfortable safe space before treatment. You will also be supporting an effort to provide treatment tools for children that CARE House therapists’ find work best for that child. Your generous donations are helping to support the Nurturing Parent Program in which CARE House educates parents on how to support their child and keep them safe when their loved child has experienced trauma.
